Christ the King Parish exists to worship the living and true God and to be transformed by Him. Divine worship is our first Pastoral Priority. Our church building, now more than 45 years old, no longer fully reflects the beauty, reverence, and theological richness of the sacred liturgy we celebrate within it. Practical needs such as worn flooring, aging finishes, and functional limitations in the narthex and sacristies must also be addressed. Now is a providential moment to unite necessary updates with a deeper renewal of our sacred space. At the same time, our parish school, an Institute for Catholic Liberal Education school, has reclaimed the Church’s timeless vision of Catholic liberal education. The planning study made clear that parishioners strongly desire to expand this formation through grade 12, ensuring that our children are rooted in truth during the critical high school years. This expansion is not an addition to our mission. It flows directly from it.
The recent planning study confirmed strong support for moving forward, with broad confidence in parish leadership and enthusiasm for strengthening both our church and school. With this unity, clarity of vision, and readiness to act, now is the time to renew our sacred space and expand our mission, so that Christ the King may continue to radiate truth, goodness, and beauty for generations to come.
